Although this is a very important question to answer, it is even more important to know the different types of merchandise before you source them. Every time I've had someone ask about where they can find eBay product, not once has anyone defined what TYPE of product they are looking for?

Each of these methods differ from the others.
It is important to note that when searching product for eBay, you want to use multiple sources. This is very important to any successful product sourcing effort.
Most people will only use one or two sources and then stop sourcing for new merchandise. However, product sourcing should also be an ongoing operation within your business as well as you also want to have a back up supplier. You'll want to keep looking for new merchandising opportunities so you're protected in case your original supplier runs out, or you may simply use the additional suppliers as opportunities to expand your business.
Note the differences between each:
A drop shipper is someone you use as a low cost entry point. A drop shipper will send product from their warehouse to your customer once you sell it. You don't need to stock the product or pre-purchase it before you sell it meaning you won't need to invest in a lot of inventory. You can try different items and find out what works. It's easy and it's low cost. However, drop shipped merchandise is more expensive than wholesale products.
Light Bulk Wholesale are suppliers who will allow you to buy products for $500.00 or less minimums. Investing in Light Bulk Wholesale can be an excellent way to get started when purchasing in small bulk quantities.. Light Bulk merchandise is an excellent resource for the small seller!
Large Volume Wholesaling are larger volume purchases where you get better discounts because you are required to purchase in larger inventory quantities. This is great for getting price breaks on large volumes of wholesale eBay products.

Liquidations are the products you see selling largely on eBay! These are the items you find that are selling for less than wholesale costs.
