You'll learn powerful truths that will apply to anything you do in life and you'll discover the outlined process to develop an eBay business strategy with the blueprint for success that every eBay auction business should have! The outline for that business plan for eBay and a strategy is revealed in that report!
It is very important as it will help you to set the stage for your success!
Business Planning for success!
Businesses are created to produce profit! Producing profits means that you're making money through providing goods or services to a market that is willing to pay you for your products or services that you are providing.
Easy enough, right? Well, this is a classic case of easier said than done. After all, there are thousands of home based business owners and corporations from small to large who either go out of business or go bankrupt because they no longer make a profit or simply never made a profit to begin with!
There are several reasons for this, but I will say that 80% of success in business is in planning and strategy. This usually involves market research, data analysis, market and competitor analysis and other types of in depth analysis depending on the market you're entering into. Much of this also involves creating a small business plan and a strategy to know how you will make money and increase your profits. This usually involves a beginning ground floor stage for you to plan how long it will take you to become profitable and how you will increase your profits after you become profitable.
Many people think they can get an idea and presto, just go out and do it and make a ton of money! Making money is not easy and if it were, you wouldn't be bombarded with all the internet ads and late night infomercials trying to "sell" you how easy it is to make money. If it were easy, you wouldn't need to buy those things would you?
Think about it. No architect, home or building designer would even consider building a house or any other building without first having a blueprint to go off of, right? Would you feel comfortable living in a house someone threw together on the fly without having a plan to build it first? It wouldn't last long before it came crashing down like a house built on sand!
Whenever you begin to build anything worthwhile or enhance what you've already got, you MUST have a plan. Then you NEED to have a plan to take action once you DO have a plan. Then once plans are made, you NEED to count the costs.
Whenever plans are made to build a house, the builder will give a cost estimate to determine if he can finish it or not.
If the costs exceed what you're willing to pay or can afford to pay, you'll need to cut the costs of the house somewhere. However, you wouldn't want to skimp on the material for the foundation of the house so you can have more excess for the glam and glitter.
Your eBay business is no different. You can't start an ebay business without a plan to start and grow. It is not wise just to run out and try to sell on ebay without having a clue as to why or how you're going to achieve what you're trying to accomplish. If you do, you're skimping on the foundation and that means you don't have a plan.
You'd be shockingly surprised at how many people attempt to run their online auction business or do anything for that matter without having a clue as to why or how they're doing it and without having a plan. Their only focus is on finding something to sell and then selling it and repeating that process over and over.
You may be asking yourself, yeah and so what?
Okay, don't get me wrong here, if that's all you want to do for some part time cash, that is fine. There's nothing wrong with that. However, this is for the serious part time or full time ebay home business builder.
This may seem a little strange to you if you've already been selling on online auctions for awhile and don't have a plan. You may be thinking why do I need one? After all, with online auctions, it's no big deal to make some money by posting an auction listing and selling an item, then continuing to do so over and over again.
Unfortunately, this is most people's definition of having an eBay business. But is this really having an eBay business?
I'm not trying to step on toes here, but this is not my definition of having an online auction business. More often than not, I have seen this numerous times which results with many people becoming a slave to their hobby and creating an hourly wage job for themselves and working twice as hard as they did at their regular job! Needless to say, that's not going to get you very far in growing your online auction business.
That is exactly why having a plan and a plan of action will help you to know where you're going, what you want to accomplish and how you're going to accomplish it! It helps you NOT to become a slave of your own creation! Without a plan, you will lack direction, find yourself listing and shipping over and over again enslaved to your auction business.
With a plan and a strategy, you'll begin to see the big picture of how to properly use online auctions to build and grow automated streams of income without becoming totally and completely dependent on auction sites such as eBay, Yahoo, Amazon or others to sustain your income if they should fall and you lose your ability to sell through them.
How To Plan?
The question you may be asking now is, "How do I get a plan and a strategy together?" "Where do I start?"
Glad you ask! This is exactly what I'm going to show you and this is the first step in beginning your own eBay business or exploding your existing online auction business! Success or failure begins here!
First, I'll warn you, however, like anything in life that's worthwhile, it takes work, time and planning to build and grow a successful eBay business. But don't let this scare you! I'll make it as simple as possible!
What you are going to do is focus on setting the stage for your success. Without first setting the stage for success with a plan and a blueprint, any strategy and technique you may attempt to use, may not be as beneficial because you'll have no direction for use with the tools or strategies you use.
However, once you're able to set the stage and lay a foundation, then based on what you want to accomplish with your eBay auctions will determine what you do with those tools, techniques and strategies.
The reason is these aren't "cookie-cutter" techniques or a program. These methods can all be done the same way, but everyone has a different niche, sells different items and desires different outcomes for their internet business.
Whatever you are trying to achieve, the most important element is putting a plan and a blueprint in place to follow. You don't need to have an extensive plan, but you at least need something that will serve as a blueprint for your success. This is your roadmap of how you will achieve what you're trying to accomplish. It will guide you in how to run an ebay business. In other words, it serves as the "how to" of how you're going to get there.
Here's how to create your very own ebay business plan, blueprint, and strategy!
This blueprint, plan and creation strategy will work for any endeavor in life. The first place to start is knowing what your vision is and then define it.
As I spoke about in "The Auction Strategy Blueprint" Report, a vision is a picture of where you see yourself in the future.
Ask yourself this question and then answer it:
What is the ideal future state going to be?
You must determine what you want you're desired end result to be. Where do you see your company in the future? What are you trying to accomplish with it?
To help answer the above questions,
ask yourself these types of questions:
|
Then based on the answers to those questions, you need to determine how you will achieve that vision. Once you can see your vision, WRITE IT DOWN. Sorry, but that is very important! This will then give you a mission to accomplish.
What is a mission?
A mission is your reason or purpose for your existence. It involves the overall strategy for achieving long-term success and answers the question: "Why do you do what you do?"
The answer to this question is vitally important! Don't go any further until you answer this question! Then WRITE IT DOWN!
Try not to simply answer, "Because I want to make money"! Don't we all! You need to be specific.
I talk about this in The Auction Strategy Blueprint Report. This is the basis for everything you do. If you don't know why you're doing what you're doing, then why are you doing it?
If you can't answer that question, then perhaps you need to reconsider what you are doing!
Put this answer in writing where you'll see it to remind you of why you're doing what you're doing! Then make sure that everything you do works to support this mission. This is your mission statement and it will give a clear description of your purpose!
This isn't cutesy filler stuff, this is powerful information. If you can't take the time to answer these questions and write them down to develop your mission, then why do you think you're going to build a successful business?
I promise you, later on down the road, it will keep you from wasted effort. You can keep your life in check this way too!
But in regards to building an auction business or starting from scratch, you need to answer the question why?
Is it because you want to be self-employed and not work for someone else? Do you want to work at home? Are you seeking financial reward? Do you want your existing income to be more profitable than it already is?
If you're trying to do some "neat" idea that has absolutely nothing to do with the bottom line plan, then don't do it! This will save your time and resources! This is why you need to determine what you're going to do before making critical decisions.
Now, you have a vision and a mission written down.
Having a mission involves a plan to take active steps to achieve your vision. These are called goals. Goals give you a sense of direction and give you a desired outcome. They answer the question, "Where are you headed?"
They work to accomplish your mission. They will keep you from diverting your resources to areas or issues that have nothing to do with your mission.
Goals will not tell you how you'll complete the mission but the things you do to accomplish your goals are done to accomplish the mission. For example - to set a goal to loose 5 pounds in 30 days is a goal. That doesn't say how I'm going to do it, but it's a goal to work toward if my overall mission is to loose 30 pounds in 6 months.
The action steps that you take to achieve your goals when you set out to accomplish your mission are called objectives.
Objectives are the things you must do to accomplish one or more of your goals. They will answer the question "what do you do to get to where you need to go?"
These are the physical action steps to take which results in your action plan. If my goal is to loose 5 pounds in 30 days, then here is my list of things to do to accomplish that goal this week.
Your action plan should involve short term objectives, mid-term objectives and long-term objectives. These are short-term, mid-term and long-term steps that you will take to achieve your mission.
ACTION STEPS
This is the first step to answer the question of how to start an ebay business. Now it's time for you to put this information to use! I want you to take the 4 step outline as detailed in "The Auction Strategy Blueprint" Report and take what you just learned above and develop your own business plan strategy and blueprint.
You can tailor these to your specific situation no matter if you already have an online ebay business or not.
Then set up your auction business. Even if you already have one, you can fit these things to your specific ebay business plan. You can take your time with it, just make sure you develop at least a basic blueprint to give you a roadmap and a business strategy to enhance your success. This will be your own "Auction Strategy Blueprint", the roadmap for your success!
